An author and illustrator from Essex, England, R.J. Ren has had works published in Flame Tree Publishing’s Gothic Fantasy series, and with Beyond Cataclysm, North Manchester FM, The BHF book of Horror Stories, Angry Gable Press, MoonLit Getaway, Rogue Planet Press, West Avenue Publishing, Mind’s Eye Publications and more. He draws influence from folklore and fairy tale, merging the darkness and wonder from old with that of the present. A writer of peculiar character and strange beast, he draws upon the ideas and fears which inspired monsters we once believed, to frame a window into the soul of modern people.
